Under the Owner’s and Occupiers Liability Act, tree owners have a general duty of care to visitors (including trespassers).

Whether caused by decay, disease or external sources such as adverse weather conditions, if a tree falls and causes damage to people or property the owner is liable if it can be proven that they have been negligent Fishlock's Tree Service are experts in recognising hazardous defects in trees and provide sound professional advice on corrective measures to avoid damage to property and potentially fatal accidents.

Our professional Health and Safety evaluation service will enable you to meet your liabilities in relation to trees in a cost-effective way and will provide you with appropriate management advice to protect you in the future.

We provide tree management services for commercial property owners and managers to meet the requirements of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and the associated ACoP. (Guidance is contained in HSG 65 Successful health and safety management and INDG 163 Five steps to risk assessment).
