Stump Removal or Treatment

When a tree has been felled we can remove the stump completely or simply treat it to prevent regrowth.

Stump removal

Stumps of any size and in any location can be removed.

  Fishlock's Tree Service is expertly equipped with a range of stump grinders varying from large machines that can quickly grind even the largest stump, to compact models suitable for access through a narrow household gate.

When we have finished the grinding process we clear up the grindings and use them to refill the hole to leave a level finish.

Stump treatment

Should you decide not to remove a tree stump we can treat it with an Eco-Plug instead.

This is a small plastic plug, which contains herbicide and is inserted into the stump to prevent regrowth.

It is a highly effective treatment, which does not effect other vegetation or trees and is harmless to animals.
